Position Overview:

We are is currently seeking highly skilled Transport Accounts Managers to join our esteemed team at the Motherwell depot.

As a Transport Account Manager, you will manage all operational and commercial aspects associated with our aggregates and concrete fleet.

Based: Romac Logistics Ltd, Motherwell, Scotland

Job type: Full-time Monday-Friday, Permanent

Salary: £35,000 per year

Key areas of competency for this role are:

Contract Management: Point of contact for customer, ensuring communication is regular and structured.
Health & Safety: Understanding of transport health & safety (Ideally within construction sector)
Resource management : Support regions to ensure correct resource is in plan to satisfy customer expectations
Standards : Maintain high standards in both Romac and customer brands .
Financial reporting : Track and report vehicle earnings ensuring maximum profitability.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry laws, regulations, and company policies.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve concerns and issues within the contract.
Business development : Always looking for opportunities to build on offering or enhance profitability

Skills and Experience:

CPC National: Desirable.
Proven Experience in logistics. (Construction sector experience preferred)
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities and organizational skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
Safety Champion: A dedicated advocate for health and safety culture.
