Your Role:
As the General Manager, you will be at the heart of our transport and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient management of all site activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

Procurement Collaboration: Work closely with procurement managers and customers on product selection and supply strategies.

Logistics Oversight: Plan and supervise both incoming and outgoing deliveries to meet customer expectations.

Operational Leadership: Oversee logistics, warehouse, and transport services, ensuring operational excellence.

Financial Planning: Analyse budgets and manage expenditures to drive cost-efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance: Enforce industry laws, regulations, and company policies.

Issue Resolution: Address and resolve complaints and issues within the supply chain.

Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site and workforce.
What You Bring:

CPC National/International: Essential for managing transport operations.

Proven Experience: Significant experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in logistics and inventory management software.

Cold Store Expertise: Experience in warehouse management, particularly in a cold store/fridge environment.

Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities and organizational skills.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Manufacturing Insight: A deep understanding of manufacturing processes.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
